IF: COCOON

This week was a challenge for me, I'm not exactly fond of cocoons, though I loved the Sci-Fi motion picture "Cocoon". My effort this week shows a butterfly-like woman emerging from a cocoon while avoiding the trap layed out for her by the black widow spider. I enjoyed doing this one because it reinforces the reason why I joined the ranks at IF, answering the illustration challenge of the week, with something you've never drawn before. Illustration Friday
