NEW LOGO for SHOEVIBEZ.COM

From the moment I came in contact with www.ShoeVibez.com I was very impressed with the bold vibrant colors that saturated their brand. They are a premier USVI (U.S. Virgin Islands) Online female owned women's shoe retailer.

Thanks to facebook I made a connection with ShowVibez.com owners. I welcomed them to post their innovative promotions on my facebook wall. They expressed an appreciation for my illustrations, and encouraged me to do the same. It was a business to business match made in heaven. Little did I know that months later I would have a chance to create something for this amazing company. I was very excited hoping to have a chance to work on an advertising incentive, but it was bigger than that... I was commissioned to create a new logo for the company

My first course of action was to study the existing brand. ShowVibez.com's visual direction was very product driven. Consumers who love women's shoes that boldly display style and flair are instantly drawn to the line up available at ShoeVibez.com. It was necessary that the new logo also displayed the product in someway. The staff expressed how it was important for the logo to reflect the timeless, empowering sense of style that they are known for. Of course I stayed mindful of the eye catching color while finalizing the design. When I presented the original rough drafts, my creative direction was well received and I was on the right track

As I expected, there was some mixing and matching of elements between the drafts that resulted in the final logo that will now represent this wonderful line of women's shoes.

This week I am posting a logo that I worked on for a great website dedicated to the empowerment of young women. I love projects that ultimately contribute to an important cause or movement.

I provided the client three drafts to choose from, and also included the notes I sent the client explaining my thought process and how I arrived to these three visual conclusions. The client chose the logo on the bottom, which is actually my favorite.

Let me know what you think of them.

Jazzies Modeling Agency Logo - By JNESS

Hello everyone, This illustrated logo was designed to to meet the need of a Plus-Size modeling agency. The client "Jazzies Modeling Agency" basically let me know the elements they wanted in the logo and let me present several options including those elements.

This is the design they chose. We went through a few revisions until the client's vision was accomplished. It was important to them that the logo reflected models of different shapes and sizes. Not just one body type as many other agencies have locked on to.

I would love to hear from you all. Let me know what you think.

Couture Queen Illustration

Another great commission for the Couture Queen boutique. This illustration will hang in their boutique for all the world to see!

When I was asked to place the star of their new logo design into a different setting, I was happy to meet the challenge. Here we find her at home after a great shopping experience finding just the right things to wear at the Couture Queen. She gazes into the mirror, content that she found the right outfit at the perfect fit!
