BBW Superhero Red by JNESS

What I present to you this week is an exploration in sketch, but not as the means to a creative end. The sketch technique is applied here as the final goal. It's completely done in red ink to add visual impact. I found it tough to do because I had to force myself to stay with the one color and technique. I added some familiar heroes in the scene - Batman, Iron Man, and Ironfist. The star is the Plus size hero who represents no well known icon. I kept her generic. A fun piece to create overall. I hope  my visitors like it. It's definately a sidestep from my usual work.

This led me to thinking about how tumultuous friendships can be...

Big Girl Relaxation by JNESS

The illustration I submit for your review this week is entitled, “Big Girl Relaxation”. I features a plus sized beauty enjoying the outdoors on a warm Spring day. This piece complete with bright colors is a reminder of how important it is to make time for yourself. Don’t make the mistake of waiting for others to bring happiness to your life and actually taking the time and investing into your own happiness and relaxation. It’s a valuable practice to play as hard as you work. Life has to be balanced and have a healthy mix of these extremes.
